FOUNDER

Carlotta is a Yoga teacher and Founder of Wander Yogi. It was in 2013, after her experience spending time in the Sivananda Ashram in India, that her desire to deepen her studies in the philosophy of yoga became more intense. After completing Yoga teacher training (RYT 200hr) with Joana Cadete and Rita Cachaço, she continued her trainings in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga.

The Wander Yogi is born from the passion for Yoga beyond the physical practice with the intention of sharing all the different forms of Yoga providing a safe environment where people with common values and interests can connect.

ASHTANGA CLASS * YOGA PHILOSOPHY

Joana Cadete sees Yoga as a lifestyle that comprehends various self-development tools, like asana, prānāyāma, meditation, the study of the ancient yoga scriptures and our attitudes in daily life. For more than a decade, she went annually to India, for long stays, to deepen her practice and study. She started to practice Hatha Yoga in 1995 and has dedicated her life to teach yoga for already more than 20 years: Ashtanga Yoga, her long-term daily practice, Vinyasa, Yoga for Children and Teenagers, and Yoga Philosophy (Vedānta). Her passions are enjoying time with family, Yoga, Surfing and Nature.

Pedro Kupfer has been practising, studying and teaching Yoga for the last 40 years. He was born in Uruguay 56 years ago. Pedro considers Yoga to be not just an exercise but a way of life and a vision on how to live it wisely. Pedro wrote eight books on Yoga, translated two traditional texts on the matter (Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā and Ramagītā), and edits the website yoga.pro.br. He has been traveling yearly to India since 1987 to study and practise with his teachers, Swāmi Dayānanda and Swāmi Tattvavidānanda. Currently lives in a small village in Western Portugal. He loves surfing, singing mantras and planting trees.

VINYASA CLASS * YOGA THERAPY WORKSHOP

Practicing Yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2008, Rodrigo is an experienced and friendly teacher, teaching in a relaxed way. If in his Vinyasa Yoga classes he is more concerned about using the body and the breath to achieve a meditative state of mind, in his Yoga Therapy practices, his focus is maintaining or recovering health. Besides yoga, he loves to surf and travel.

VINYASA FLOW CLASS * BREATHWORK SESSION

Catarina Mota is a Mother, Certified Yoga Teacher and Therapist of Ayurvedic Massage, and in love with traveling. At the moment she is fully dedicated to teach Aerial Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Her Aerial yoga and Vinyasa flow classes are dynamic, sometimes stronger, sometimes more restorative, but always connected with the breath. The Aerial Yoga classes are organic, and flow between challenge and a gentle way to go deeper in each asana. Catarina teaches her classes with peace, happiness and trust.

YOGA NIDRA SESSION

Cristina Guerra has been since 2014 hosting classes and workshops in yoga and meditation in South-East Asia, Australia, Amsterdan and Portugal. She has deep training in Multidimentional Therapy, Channeling, white tantric Meditation, Krya and Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra.

VINYASA MASTERCLASS

Paula's joyful approach to yoga integrates somatic flowing movement explorations with embodied philosophy, awareness practices and sacred sound. Inspired by natural movement patterns, classes focus on process over destination; slowly unfurling into powerful, creative sequences designed to cultivate curiosity, adaptability and resilience whilst honing our capacity to feel, and honouring the exquisite intelligence of our bodies. Paula has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and spent the last decade teaching in London’s leading studios before moving to Portugal with her family last year. You can find her teaching retreats internationally, via her online studio, The Community, or train with her through her bespoke programme for yoga teachers, Tiny & Vast.

AYURVEDA WORKSHOP

Faaria is an Ayurvedic Diet and lifestyle Practitioner and Yoga teacher with over a decade of experience. She is of Indian origin and is the founder of Ojas Wellbeing, where she shares her passion for Vedic practices from her cultural upbringing to empower people to live their best lives in a nurturing and holistic way. Faaria started her journey with Ayurveda after being able to heal herself naturally from chronic illness. Her purpose is to share the knowledge of longevity through the art of self-healing with Ayurveda, working with others to help them overcome a range of health issues using natural and sustainable lifelong practices where the mind, body, and soul thrive together in harmony.

VINYASA MASTERCLASS

Nina Vukas has been a yoga teacher for over two decades. She is also a yoga therapist (C-IAYT), a Somatic Psychotherapist, a psychologist and a founder of Spanda Institute, an international yoga school offering various yoga education programs in Portugal and worldwide for over a decade. Besides dedicating her efforts to creating and leading yoga teacher training programs alonside her amazing team, Nina offers one-to-one therapy and coaching sessions; helping others heal, grow, and thrive is her Seva (service). Currently, Nina and her partner are busy bringing a dream to life - creating a sustainable, nature-inspired beach retreat south of Ericeira. At The Wander Yogi Festival, Nina will offer a creative, themed Vinyasa class that integrates intelligent asana sequences, mudra, pranayama, meditation, mantra and a touch of myth.

YOGA & PHYSIOTHERAPY WORKSHOP

Teresa is a Yoga Teacher, Physiotherapist, and Manual Therapist specializing in orthopedic medicine. As a healthcare professional with several years of experience, her goal has always been to contribute to people’s well-being, with a strong emphasis on understanding how the body works. She has been practicing yoga since her teenage years, which sparked her desire to teach and combine her scientific knowledge of the human body with holistic yogic teachings. A 500-hour certified Spanda Vinyasa Yoga teacher, Teresa also holds certifications in Pre- and Postnatal Yoga and Sound Healing. Since 2021, she has been part of the Spanda Institute team, where she integrates her expertise in anatomy, physiology, and injury management to help develop well-informed and confident future yoga teachers.

Claudia Belem, founder of Sodashi Ayurveda & Sound Therapies is an international Therapist with a passion for supporting anyone who is looking to enjoy a more peaceful state of mind, balanced health and wellbeing, as well as nurture a stronger connection with their inner selves. Having trained in India, Nepal, UK, Spain and Portugal, with world class teachers in Ayurveda and sound therapy, Claudia’s aim has always been to offer her clients the best support to de-stress, release underlying memories and blockages within both the body and mind and stimulate the process of self-regulation, regeneration and homeostasis.

TANTRA & MEDITATION WORKSHOP

Lara Sophie, founder of The Soulshine Space, is a trauma-informed Tantra Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Embodiment Coach. 

Her purpose is to walk the path of the heart, while learning, sharing and growing together. In her sessions, she integrates the three key elements of Tantra - breath, sound and movement - supporting individuals to tap "out of the mind and into the body". Creating a powerful experience of releasing what no longer serves in order to reconnect with our inherent vibrancy. Remembering oneself that we are life, we are love, we are creation itself.

DANCE WORKSHOP

Tara Chantelle Gomez had dedicated her life to dance ever since she moved to India in 2008 to undergo intensive training in Odissi, Classical Indian Dance and Yoga. With a career that spans over 15 years, she is known for her relentless dedication to the in-depth training of Sacred Dances from the Far East, by being a seasoned artist in Indian, Persian, Middle Eastern and Modern Devotional Movement Arts. Tara is a committed devotee to the path of Goddess worship and the Ancient teachings of empowerment, thus giving her the foundation to translate these pearls of wisdom through her offerings. She now lives in Portugal and is dedicated to uplifting those who come close to her through her accredited training program. Dance of Shakti and her school, Narthaki Method.

SOUND HEALING & YOGA NIDRA SESSION

Chidanand, co-founder of Awakenheartyoga retreat center is a music producer singer songwriter , exctatic dance Dj multi percussionalist , kirtan artist.

Chetana Thornton is the other half of the Awakenheartyoga. Yoga teacher & therapist, somatic therapist, vortex healer TM, Psychotherapist , self enquiry meditation facilitator. Chetana will be guiding us through a deep meditation immersion awakening yoga nidra supported through energy healing therapy. Together we will dive into the sound transmission of Chidanand's blissful mantra vocal overtones and harmonium woven through electronica and live music soundscapes to awaken the heart .

YOGA & LUNISOLAR CALENDAR WORKSHOP

Sara has spent most of her life traveling and studying the human condition and mind liberation. She began studying meditation, astrology, and the Mayan Calendar in 2006, completed her first Vipassana meditation course in 2008, and received her Yoga Teacher certification the same year in Auroville (India) where she studied Supramental Yoga of Aurobindo and Ashtanga Yoga. Sara has worked with plant medicine for 12 years and practiced Reiki for 18 years. Now based in Portugal, she is dedicated to spreading yoga teachings globally, combining nature-inspired intuition with a science-based, practical, and inclusive approach to living. She is the founder of Gaya Immersions and the Yoga Sciences Institute.

Anna Grabner is passionate about the transformational potential that every voice in each unique body holds. 

As a singer, voice movement therapist and mother, she provides a safe space for profound and creative self-expression. She encourages people to awaken their innate voice wisdom, and to reconnect with their voice in a truthful way.

SPINAL ATTUNEMENT WORKSHOP

Katia is deeply passionate about holistic health and believes in viewing wellness from a comprehensive and broad perspective. Her approach incorporates somatic and energy work, recognising the profound impact of subtle shifts that can lead to significant transformations. Her goal is to empower individuals to align with their authentic selves, to support them in navigating life without blockages and embrace their true expression. Both intuitive and methodical, the Spinal Attunement Method is an accelerated healing modality that works on finding precise tension points in the spine and nervous system and gently unwinding these points through the subtle energy systems.

He transforms electronics, world beats, soundscapes and voice into an immersive journey to the primal heritage alive in our collective unconscious. His soundweb is filled with tribal elements, orgasmic synths and complex percussions, a deep fusion of the organic and digital worlds. In the stories he weaves, he’s as fluent in the meditative and transcendental as he is in the expansive ritual of dance, flooding the dancefloor with earthy basslines, rattles and positive energy.
